Examination of the Mexican Drug War and its effects on Mexican Culture and populace in Mexico, US border areas and the world as the war and its commerce grows beyond borders and encompasses the global community and politics. This series depicts the terror and horrors of current events using the emotion, and dissembling characterized by the drug war. Incorporating familiar iconography and imagery, this work confronts the viewer with bitter realities and pain points of Mexico’s current landscape in hopes to draw attention and to create a dialogue among the US populace.
